  • School Fete – ‘Beach Party’

    The event will take place on Thursday 21st May from 3.30pm – 5.00pm and will involve a beach party (with a mocktail bar!), stalls and refreshments (tombolas, bouncy castle, cake stall, Name the Teddy, Book stall, popcorn, ice cream van, burger van, donut van, candy floss etc…)

     

    To support this event, we will be hosting two non-uniform days:

    • Friday 15th May where we will ask for donations of bottles, sweets and good quality teddy bears.
    • Thursday 21st May (beach themed outfits) where we will be asking for donations of chocolate or cakes.

     

    On the day, we are asking that children (and staff) come dressed to school ready for a ‘beach party’, This is not a day to come in football tops!

  • Easter Discos

    Our Easter Discos will be held on Thursday 26th April at the following times:

    • Reception, Years 1 and 2 from 4.00pm – 5.00pm
    • Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 from 5.30pm – 6.30pm

    No tickets are required for this event as children will pay on the main door as they enter. The price of entry will be £3.00 and this will include refreshments. All children will be dismissed from the back of the hall.

  • Red Nose Day

    On Friday 20th March, the children are invited to ‘break the rules’ to raise funds for Comic Relief. This could be a change of hair style or colour, nail polish, temporary tattoos, make-up, jewellery, a strange outfit or a ‘naughty lunch’.

     

    We’re asking that families kindly donate £1.00 towards this cause (you are more than welcome to donate a greater amount) and monies can be sent into school on this day.

  • Parents’ Evenings

    Parents’ Evenings will be held on Tuesday 10th and Thursday 12th February from 3.50pm until 7.00pm.  Bookings for this event are now live and will close on Wednesday 4th February. Discussions with your child’s teacher will take place in their classroom and Mr Freear and Mr Wade will be available in the hall along with the school nurse, our uniform provider, an opportunity to taste our new hot meals menu, lost property and the Book Fair.

    Book Fair

    The Book Fair will be in school the week commencing Monday 9th February. The children will have a chance to visit the Fair on Monday 9th and then the fair will be open for families to visit (to purchase books) on Monday 9th and Wednesday 11th, from 3.30pm – 4.00pm and at parents’ evening (Tuesday 10th and Thursday 12th) from 4.00pm – 7.00pm.

    Our Christmas Discos will be held on Wednesday 17th December at the following times:

  • Christmas Jumper Day and Christmas Meal

    Christmas Jumper Day and Christmas Meal

    On Wednesday 17th December, children are invited to wear a ‘Christmas’ jumper (other uniform as normal) to celebrate and raise funds for Save the Children, Shelter and The Black Country Food Bank.

     

    We have set ourselves the challenge of trying to raise £400 for these charities and if each child donated £1.00 then we would reach this total – donations should be given to your child’s class teacher on the day.

     

    Our Christmas Meal will also take place on this day, please order this via the normal hot meals ordering system by Friday 5th December 2025.

    If you would like the Vegetarian option (Quorn fillet) please select Vegetarian

    Please note there will be no jacket potato or sandwich option on this day (if you have already chosen this option, please alter your choice or call the school office).

    Christmas Raffle

    From Monday 1st December, we will be selling raffle tickets for our Christmas Hamper Raffle – a letter will be sent home inviting you to purchase some tickets and they will also be on sale at Christmas performances.

  • Children in Need

    On Friday 14th November, we will becoming SPOTacular for Children in Need . We’re inviting children to wear their own clothes on this day but be as ‘spotty’ as they can (hats, t-shirts, jumpers, leggings, shorts, faces...)

     

    Our Key Stage Two children (Years 3-6) are also invited to make or bring in items to sell at their own fundraising stall. Please send your child in with some money on this day so that they can visit the stalls, buy an item and support a worthy cause.
