Firstly, thank you for working with us today. We have carefully monitored the temperatures in school today and have reviewed plans for tomorrow. We will have lunch slightly earlier and you have the option to collect your child at 1.00pm tomorrow, if you wish. Please collect from their classrooms as usual both at 1.00pm or 3.25pm collection. School will remain open for those who are unable to be collected and we will ensure we move them to a cooler place in the building as well as keeping them hydrated (all after school clubs will remain open as usual and collection points will remain the same). As this is optional to collect at 1.00pm, we expect all children to be in school in the morning - please make sure they have a sun hat, a refillable bottle and that suncream has been applied. Year 5 & 6 children all need to be collected from the year 5 & 6 doors if they are being collected at 1.00pm, regardless of whether they usually have written permission to walk home.
