No new sounds are taught this half term.

Children will revisit and review all previously taught sounds, applying them in longer words:

CVCC (frog, bench),

CCVC (plug, thrill),

CCVCC (stamp, print) 

CCCVCC words (splint, stretch)

(C= Consonant / V= Vowel)

They will also look at words ending in -ed, -er and -est.
