We have introduced new roles to Straits - Reading Ambassadors.

They will work with staff and pupils to raise the profile of reading, work with groups, change books regularly and create competitions to promote the love for reading. Children had the opportunity to apply for the role (Years 6, 5, 4, 3 & 2 pupils) and they are busy making our new library a success.

The reading ambassadors expressed that they would like to read to the younger children. We arranged for our year 6 to go into reception class to read a story to the pupils at the end of the day.
