As part of Year 2's Autumn Topic 'Fire and Ice', the children went on a trip to Selly Manor to learn more about houses in the Tudor period and more importantly, the events which took place during The Great Fire of London. During the day the children had the opportunity to act out certain events, dress up in costumes and also play with toys that children would have played with during 1666. In the afternoon, it was time for the children to explore inside the rooms of the manor house. The children were given an insight into what it would have been like to live in London during these times. Take a look at some of the pictures captured during their visit:
