On Wednesday 10th November, Year 2 went on a trip to Selly Manor to learn more about The Great Fire of London. The children had lots of fun exploring what it would have been like to live during the time of the Great Fire. They spent time exploring all of the rooms that would have been in a house. They learnt lots about the houses that were in London at the time and what it was like for rich and poor people. In the afternoon, the children learnt about the main events of the Great Fire of London, how it started and why the fire spread so quickly. The children had a brilliant day and asked lots of questions to further their knowledge. They can't wait to learn more back at school in their History lessons.
