As part of their Plant & Animals topic, Year 2 took their learning outside today to explore plants and animals in the local environment. During their hunt, the children found lots of interesting things such as daisies, worms, woodlouse, ants, holly leaves and much more. The children now also have a better understanding of the word 'habitat' and understand why certain animals live in certain habitats. The children are beginning to explore the similarities between plants and animals. Take a look at some of the photos Miss James captured during their Plant and Animal Hunt today.
Year 2 had fun planting bulbs outside our school today. They planted daffodils, tulips and crocuses. One of our Science topics this year is Plants. Take a look at some of us planting the bulbs today.
